Vertix Systems joins RIBA CPD Providers Network and has first CPD on Moisture Management approved

Vertix Systems has joined the RIBA CPD Providers Network and secured RIBA approval for our first Continuing Professional Development (CPD) seminar Using Roof Build-ups to Manage Moisture in Low U-Value Buildings and provide a healthier environment for occupants.

Moisture management remains one of the most significant factors affecting the long-term performance, durability and safety of buildings. When moisture is not effectively controlled, the consequences can be extensive, ranging from deterioration of the building fabric and reduced asset value to increased maintenance costs and potential health and safety risks for occupants.

What’s covered in the CPD?

Our new RIBA-approved CPD has been developed to provide practical guidance on understanding, minimising and controlling moisture within buildings. The seminar explores:

  • The principal causes of moisture in buildings
  • The impact of moisture on building performance and occupant wellbeing
  • The build-ups and design measures required to manage moisture effectively
  • Relevant Building Regulations and compliance considerations
  • Best practice approaches to reducing the risk of condensation, damp and mould

By equipping specifiers with a deeper understanding of moisture behaviour and control measures, the CPD aims to support better-performing, more resilient buildings.

The value of RIBA-Approved CPD

The RIBA CPD Providers Network is recognised across the construction industry as a benchmark for high-quality professional learning. Approval through the network provides assurance that CPD content is independently assessed, technically robust and relevant to the needs of architects and construction professionals.

For practices and individuals committed to maintaining professional competence and delivering better building outcomes, RIBA-approved CPD offers a trusted source of up-to-date knowledge and practical expertise.

Joining the network enables Vertix Systems to share our technical knowledge with a wider audience while contributing to the industry’s collective understanding of critical building performance issues.

Supporting better building through knowledge

As Building Regulations evolve and expectations around building quality continue to increase, understanding moisture management has never been more important. Effective moisture control is fundamental not only to protecting building structures and materials, but also to creating healthier, safer environments for occupants.

Through our new RIBA-approved CPD, Vertix Systems is helping industry professionals gain the knowledge needed to identify risks, specify appropriate solutions and deliver buildings that perform as intended throughout their lifecycle.
