Designed with clean architectural lines and a striking mono-pitch roof, this Cheshire house extension creates a seamless connection between the home and garden and a sleek, light-filled living space. Manufactured from Tata Steel Colorcoat Prisma® in Anthracite grey, EasySeam flat profile on the roof and EasySeam soffit plank on the walls, combine effectively to deliver a refined, timeless appearance that complements the original house.
EasySeam Roof System was selected for its speed of construction, minimalist standing seam aesthetic, exceptional weather performance and long-term durability. The flat profile creates a sleek finish to the mono-pitch roof, enhancing the extension’s modern character whilst maintaining a sophisticated, understated look. Large rooflights have been neatly integrated into the design, allowing natural light to flood the interior without compromising the clean roofline.
The roof and walls were constructed from structural insulated panels (SIPs) from SIPCO. Cost effective and quick to install, these panels also provide excellent thermal insulation. EasySeam soffit profile was then fitted to the walls, encasing the SIPs in a sleek and contemporary envelope. The vertical soffit plank arrangement adds depth and visual interest and the Anthracite colour provides a bold contrast against the existing brickwork and surrounding landscape.
