Vertix® Systems. Engineered for life

Metal Fascias and Soffit Boards

Metal fascias and soffit boards are an important part of the EasySeam® Roof System. They are both durable and low maintenance and their resistance to moisture and weathering makes them ideally suited to protecting the roof and maintaining the integrity of the overall structure.

Aesthetics and functionality

Fascias are mounted along the roofline and provide both an aesthetic and functional purpose, offering a smooth and finished appearance and preventing water entering through the edges of the roof.

Fascias are manufactured to order by Vertix Systems to match the material and colour chosen for the EasySeam Roof System and at a maximum width of 250mm.

Aesthetics, protection and structural support

As well as contributing to the overall building aesthetics, metal soffit boards help protect the underside of the roof overhang from rain, snow and high winds and act as a barrier, shielding the interior of the building from moisture and preventing water damage.

They also provide structural support to the roof overhang by covering and enclosing the underside of the eaves, helping distribute the weight of the roof evenly and prevent sagging or distortion of the roofline over time. Soffit Boards are manufactured to order by Vertix Systems to match the material and colour chosen for the EasySeam Roof System and are available in widths between 100mm and 250mm and can be butted together to cover larger soffit areas.

How do I get a price for fascias and soffits?

Complete the online price request form and we will provide a speedy response catered to your individual requirement. To complete this you will require details of the roof type and dimensions. Alternatively, there is an option on the price request form to attach drawings and any additional specific requirements for the project and submit these to our sales team who will respond with a complete estimate price.

How are fascias and soffits packed and delivered to site?

Fascias and soffits are packed and delivered to site either in a crate alongside any roof panels that have been ordered or on a wooden pallet, covered with polythene to minimise water ingress.

What is the lead time on fascias and soffit orders?

The lead time quoted ranges from 2-8 weeks, depending on your individual colour requirement and our on-hand stock availability. However, it should be noted there is high demand on installation contractors and therefore early engagement is recommended circa 6 months to avoid delays in the commencement of your project. The chosen installer will be able to manage the lead time and order placement with Vertix Systems, generally by placing a reservation order. Vertix Systems will purchase the material specified for your project to meet the required delivery time to site.

When the project is ready to be measured for the final order, it is typically 4 weeks from placement of order or payment to delivery to site.

What is the difference between full replacement fascias or soffit boards and capping boards?

Full replacement boards involve completely removing the existing fascia or soffit boards and replacing them with new ones, providing a complete overhaul of the roofline system. Capping boards involve fitting new boards directly over existing ones, covering and protecting them without the need for complete removal.

While full replacement offers a long-term solution and allows for inspection of underlying structures, capping boards provide a quicker and more cost-effective option for improving the appearance and functionality of the roofline.

Don’t just take our word for it…

What our clients say

“We used Vertix EasySeam System for both roof and wall on a recent project and were really pleased both with the quality of the product and the support offered by Vertix Systems. They were very easy to deal with and told us what we needed for the project, addressing any technical questions we had. The ordering process was then straightforward and easy to get through. Once on site, the EasySeam System was simple to fit and roof and wall compliment each other well. Our client is over the moon and really likes the sleek and modern look the EasySeam System in matt dark grey has given their home. They’re really pleased we chose Vertix Systems for their project and so are we.”

Rob Edwards JNR Construction

“We used Vertix EasySeam Roof System to re-clad a flat roof kitchen and garage extension that had failed and looked unsightly. We also took the opportunity to wrap the exterior kitchen walls in insulation and fit EasySeam soffit boards over this. The technical support we received was second to none and the ordering process was easy. Both the soffit boards and standing seam were straightforward to install and have given our home a more contemporary appearance- mixing old and new beautifully. The neighbours are so impressed they want to use EasySeam System on their property!”

Louise George

“We are very pleased with the quality and finish of the Vertix Easyseam cladding fitted to our new building at Cardigan Guildhall Market. It looks wonderful.”
